Q: What do we need the license module for?

For anything that is charged per member on a recurring basis and has an expiry date: association licenses, annual fees for individual sections, insurance or subscriptions. You define it once and billing continues at the selected interval.

Q: How do the licenses get onto the invoice?

Automatically. At the interval, DigitalMembers creates the invoice with the stored items, including QR payment slip. Payments are matched automatically during bank import.

Q: Can we manage licenses for multiple sections?

Yes. You create as many licenses as you like and assign each member exactly the ones that apply to them. A member can have several licenses at the same time.

Define once, assign to everyone

You create a license with name, amount, invoice items and interval, then assign it to the right members, individually or for a whole group. Each assignment has a start and end date. When a license expires, you see it in the overview before the association asks.

Take age limits into account

A license can be tied to an age. If a member grows out of the category, this is flagged during assignment.

Own invoice items

A license can include multiple items, such as association fees and insurance. Both are shown separately on the invoice.

Start and end per member

Anyone who joins in the middle of the year starts from their date. Anyone who resigns keeps the license until the stored end date.

Visible when leaving

In the resignation form, the member sees their active licenses. This makes it clear from the start what is still open.
